Constituency Assistant

Leslie and her family are long-time northerners who love the North and can often be spotted boating or paddleboarding with their dogs on Yellowknife waters. During Leslie’s 32 years as a public servant she worked in both communications and political fields and witnessed the transition of seven Governments, the split of the NWT into two territories, the establishment of Executive and Indigenous Affairs Corporate Communications division, and the achievement of devolution in the Northwest Territories.
Leslie has been recognized for her hard work with a Premier’s Award as a Project Manager for the GNWT’s Visual Identity Rebrand, a Silver Leaf Award of Excellence from the Canada Chapter of International Association of Business Communicators, an In-house Design Award from the Association of Registered Graphic Designers, and a Premier’s Award as a Site Coordinator for the 2011 Royal tour of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
